Should I choose mesh or woven?

If an airy and lightweight feel matters most, choose the mesh. If you prefer something more embracing and softly cushioned, go for the woven fabric.

Safe Fabrics Developed for BabyBjörn

Since fabrics are such an important part of our textile products, we develop most of them in-house. This approach allows us to ensure high and consistent quality as well as the unique properties we require. We’ve chosen to certify our fabrics with either Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, Ö 07-091, RISE, Class 1 or bluesign® Grade A for products designed for babies and close-to-skin contact. These certifications set exceptionally high bars to ensure that our fabrics are free from any harmful levels of substances, gentle on your baby’s skin and safe to taste.

Can I machine wash the baby carrier?

Yes, it’s super easy to clean – just toss it in the wash on warm (40°C). While the baby carrier can handle frequent washing, let’s do our part for the planet: use lower wash temperatures and don’t over-wash. For minor stains, a quick brush-off usually does the trick.

Do I need to wash the baby carrier before use?
