BABYBJÖRN has been a pioneer in the development of safe, ergonomic and comfortable baby carriers for decades. Our very first baby carrier, Close To Heart, was launched almost 50 years ago. Since then, over 45 million babies have been carried in a baby carrier from BABYBJÖRN. It makes us incredibly proud to think about how many babies have been comforted, soothed, carried and taken out to discover the world in one of our baby carriers.
Developing a baby carrier is a process that takes several years. Before a baby carrier is launched, it will have undergone many tests in our internal and external laboratories to ensure that it meets a series of safety standards.
