When can I begin using the baby crib for my baby?
The baby crib can be used from when your baby is a newborn and up to the age of 2 years. The mattress can be adjusted in two height positions and used for a tiny baby or a slightly larger baby.

How is BABYBJÖRN Baby Crib safe for my child?
The crib complies with the EN 716 and EN 16890 (mattress) safety standards. Our crib has been developed in consultation with safety experts, and has a robust design and sides in a soft mesh fabric for good air circulation. The specially tailored mattress is integrated into the sides of the baby crib, eliminating any risk of your baby getting caught between the crib bars or the mattress and the side of the crib. Your baby will stay cool and safe while sleeping. All materials that come into contact with your baby’s skin meet the requirements for Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means they are kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste.

Can I wash the crib textiles?
Yes, the crib fabric is easy to remove and machine wash at 40°C. The mattress cover can also be machine washed.

Is there bed linen that fits the crib?
Yes, we have fitted sheets in soft, organic cotton, specially tailored to fit the crib. View our crib sheets.

Washing instructions

The crib fabric is easy to remove and machine washable at 40°C. Please wash using a mild, eco-certified detergent and carefully follow dosage instructions. Do not tumble dry as this will impair the quality of the fabric.
The mattress cover is machine washable at 40°C and can be tumble dried.
